Personal Checking Account
An account with a preset borrowing limit accessible as needed via any credit union, heritage bank or national bank of Belize ATM country-wide and can be repaid immediately or over a pre-specified period of time.
Characteristics of a Credit Line Account
- Exclusive for payroll assigned members.
- Credit limit is determined based on member’s monthly salary.
- Only 10% monthly deduction of amount used.
- Funds available via any credit union, heritage bank or national bank of Belize ATM country-wide.
- Withdrawals made in person at the office are fee-free when the passbook is presented. If the passbook is not available, members may either purchase a replacement or incur a $10.00 withdrawal fee.
- ATM withdrawals are subject to a $0.50 fee.
