Shares
Our Shares Account is a long-term savings account that earns varying annual dividends and is required to establish membership, granting access to additional products such as loans. Withdrawals made in person at the office incur no fees when the passbook is presented, unless committed to SFXCU. If the passbook is not available, members may either purchase a replacement or pay a $10.00 withdrawal fee. Please note that Shares cannot be accessed via ATM and are only available for in-office transactions.
Characteristics
- Minimum shares requirement of $20.00
- Can be used as collateral for loan.
- Annual interest payable to the shares account.
- Accessible over-the-counter at any time unless committed to SFXCU.
- Only two-yearly fees applicable but beneficial to membership ($4 league dues for adult and organization account/$1 league due for minor accounts & $24 insurance premium).
